Grade im Netz entdeckt, ein Comic von Karri "Donotsue" Aronen, in dem er verschiedene Panel von Barks (u.a. aus "Moderne Erziehungsmethoden") als Vorlage verwendete. Dieser Comic ist Teil der fiktiven History seiner Figur "Donny Squirrel":
"In 1945 Don starred in his own comic book, drawn by Carl Barks, who had also drawn some WB-comics. The first -and the last- issue was seized from shops by religious fanatics and burned. Barks who didn't get paid swore he'd never touch the character again and concentrated on Disney ducks."

Ob es noch eine Fortsetzung geben wird ist noch ungewiss: "And that's all, folks, for now. I may finish it someday... after I seek out enough suitable frames to borrow... Or maybe the joke's old by now? =) Anyway now it's again time to make something else, in my own style! =)"
